Hendersonville, TN (April 28, 2015) – Daywind Records is proud to announce the release of Pray Now from Karen Peck & New River. This project, which is the group’s newest release since the 2013 Dove Award winning album, Revival, speaks of the power of prayer and the many ways in which it has touched lives. This timely message resonates with a world searching for hope and encouragement that can only be found in the Lord.
Pray Now was produced by Wayne Haun and includes songs written by Karen Peck Gooch, Kenna West, Gerald Crabb, Jason Cox and many more. The first single and title track, ‘Pray Now,’ shipped to radio in March and debuted at #36 on the Singing News Radio Chart. In anticipation of the album release, a lyric video was shared on social media this week, and the group announced the debut of their new music video for ‘Pray Now’ on Tuesday.
“It amazes me how at times God provides the perfect message through song in such a way that we can’t deny it’s His doing,” shares Scott Godsey, VP & Director of A&R at Daywind Records. “When we began listening to songs for this project many months ago, none of us had any way of knowing how much the song ‘Pray Now’ specifically would mean to this group and family. I’m excited to see how this album touches the lives of those who hear it and can identify with its significant message.”
